Seven friends and a love: Baga.
In 2010 the Baga Friends project was created with the aim of preserving, defending, disseminating and promoting Bairrada wines produced with the Baga grape variety.
It originated from the common concerns of Mário Sérgio Alves Nuno (Quinta das Bágeiras) and Filipa Pato, with the start of the Baga vineyards and the fact that many producers in the region bet entirely on international varieties.
They were joined by other national producers, passionate about the Baga caste and united to achieve the project's goal.
The result is a wine made by 14 hands, widely appreciated by national and international critics, as described by Robert Parker's critics: "it will be irresistible for those who are lucky enough to get a bottle."
In the mouth expect a dry wine, medium body, good freshness and tannins present but very soft. It is a wine with some elegance, with a very persistent finish.
A fine example of a Baga red wine.
Alcohol content of 13.5%.
