The first producers to plant Syrah in the Alentejo, in 1991, show that they still hold the best wines from the variety.
This Cortes de Cima Syrah 2016 was aged for 8 months in French oak barrels, and shows intense red berry fruit aromas with hints of vanilla and licorice.
It is solid on the palate, with cherry and raspberry in relief, and finishing with good acidity.
Alcohol content 14%.
